Our Story
Atlas Agri is a young, dynamic agricultural commodities company, head-quartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, delivering quality sustainable products and services to global customers. We are focused on developing sustainable farming models that will promote increased volumes of quality agricultural produce through improved tobacco production methods, whilst also diversifying farmer crop portfolios. The Group has ambitious growth strategies throughout Africa and we are excited to announce the successful launch in 2022 and continuation of our very first independent regional tobacco merchant entity in Zimbabwe.
The team have many years of collective experience in the local and global tobacco industry, are passionate about diversified, sustainable small-scale farming models, and have a fresh perspective and vision for the tobacco production process. We are committed to protecting the environment and empowering the farmers in the communities in which we operate with pragmatic solutions in an ever-more-dynamic world.

Strategy
AAG and its origins are focused on developing sustainable farming models that will promote an increase in farmer count, increased volumes of agricultural produce and improved livelihoods for primary and auxiliary producers. We actively pursue reciprocal value- adding opportunities in the communities we partner with. We are primarily driven by protecting the environment and creating employment. Origin Commitment
Each origin is committed to forming close relationships with their farmer base, working with the vision that the people, the communities and the environments touched are uplifted and improved. We encourage farmers to use alternative crops to develop financial viability and diversity. Focus is placed on education for our farmers to develop a deep awareness of the environment and how their actions and impact can be positive or negative. This purposeful and directed knowledge sharing helps rural communities to become self-reliant and learn the exact steps to take to improve their circumstances, and those of the next generations.
Environment & Sustainability
At Atlas Agri, our ambition is to impart the "Chigaffa Concept" to our contracted farmers, equipping them with the tools to construct small-scale staging barns on their own farms. This cost-effective solution helps reduce losses, maximize yields, and empower our growers to attain their goals.
